(Every other week = every two weeks = this week, but not next week )

- It never rains but it pours ! ( when it rains, it’s very heavily ; a small problem can become very big ! (Here, « BUT » = « sans que »))

- It rains cats and dogs ! ( very heavily ! It pours ! )

- Enough is enough ! ( In French, we say : « too much is too much  » (which is not English ! ) )

- She pulls a long face  (she doesn’t look in a good mood…)

-  Don’ cry over spilt milk !  ( it’s no use regretting past things that you can’t change.)
