Desegregation at school

First, read about the story of « Jim Crow, the minstrel ». Then, learn about the  Jim Crow laws and the fights against them.
In the 1960s, the fight for « equality » and desegregation was very important. After desegregation, different attempts were made to find a solution to the slow changes in mentalities : busing was one of them and it was resisted violently.

Eventually, African-Americans could have access to education, with a lot of work and will-power.
